The Fall Style Breakdown
October is here, there’s a chill in the air and Brass Babes are wondering: what the hell do we do with the dresses we’ve been living in all summer? Well ladies, before you put anything in storage, let us show you a few ways to accessorize for the new season. We’ve utilized basic staples you all have in your closets. Take a look at what we’re doing. And, as always, reach out if you need more style inspiration.
The simplest way to take the Knit Column dress from summer to fall is with a crisp, white fitted shirt. A white button down gives the dress a pretty, polished feel. Try chambray for a chic weekend look. Pair with a cute pair of clogs (we are in love with these) and you’ve got yourself a fresh fall outfit.
The Shirt dress is a closet staple that easily transitions from season to season. We paired the Shirt dress with quality black tights and wedge booties. To make the outfit a bit more badass, we added a leather moto vest. You can easily swap the vest for a beautiful scarf for a more feminine feel. We know your inner badass will still be there.
The Sweater dress was made for cool fall days. We went for a school girl prep look and paired the Sweater dress with a collared chambray shirt, camel colored leather loafers and tote. You might say we over-use the over-sized tote from the Whipping Post, but it’s just too damn gorgeous not to.
The easiest (and chicest) way to transition the Tunic dress from summer to fall is with a tailored black blazer and suede stilettos. We can’t promise you’ll be able to walk properly, but we can promise long legs and beautiful lines.
No need to retire the T-shirt dress to the back of your closet, ladies. We added a long wool cardigan and black leather boots for a look you can wear well into the fall. We call it “cozy moto chic.”
Always remember, your Brass dress was made to be versatile and can be worn all year long. Layer on a few classic pieces you have in your closet, and you’re good to go.
