Style Points: Looking Beachy in the City
Who doesn’t want to spend their weekdays on the beach? No one. That’s who. Unfortunately, some one has to bring home the bacon. Alas, the majority of us are left to pinning photos of the beach while we sit in air-conditioned offices.
When you can’t sport your maxi to the beach, you can still wear it while sweating in the city. Here’s how we style the T-Shirt Maxi for a typical (casual) work day.
We love pairing this dress with a pair of sneakers and simple back-pack. It’s sort of a “7th grade-chic” look. Grab the accessories here:
Gap Denim Jacket, The Horse Watch, Fossil Leather Wrap Bracelet, Need Supply Backpack, Onitsuka Tiger Sneakers.
If you are lucky enough to get to the beach, or at least in smelling distance of that sweet, salty air, we suggest you pair a maxi with a cute, straw tote. Here’s how we style the Tank Maxi for a beach-inspired work day.
Let’s call this look “Urbanbeach”: a city-dweller who dreams of sand-filled afternoons. Get the accessories here:
Stella and Dot Pendant, Levi’s Trucker Jacket, Need Supply Cuff, Mar Y Sol Caracas Tote.
With the hurricane that is headed our way, we should probably throw an umbrella into the mix. Here’s to hoping you all stay dry this 4th of July! (Yes, that rhymed.)
Please post more stuff like this! I love seeing different ideas on how to style Brass pieces. I’d really like to see more outfit ideas combining the various items you sell.
